   Thailand is recognized as an industrial hub in the Southeast Asian region. There are more than 300,000 industrial factories across the country in 62 industrial estates spread in 18 provinces and many more outside the industrial estates. It consists of small, medium and large factories, including light industry, and heavy industry. Our reputation has been trusted in the quality of the production of products all over the world.

However, with the prosperity we have here in another dimension, we have encountered environmental problems due to the drive of large industrial systems that are linked from upstream, midstream, and downstream of the production process. These all generate a lot of waste both general waste that can be recycled and hazardous waste that requires a special method of handling. It must be accepted by the fact that at present we are currently unable to completely fix it.

   Environmental issues are not the responsibility of any authorities or a specific person. It is the responsibility of all human beings who are living together. Even though all sectors including the government sector and the private sector are trying to participate in solving environmental problems is a good thing, but in fact it is not enough because at present there is too much garbage to manage. We still lack an innovative management method, and we are always aggravated by entrepreneurs who are not socially responsible, and focusing on profit. As a result, we often find waste dumping illegally in unauthorized areas. Also, there are illegal discharge of wastewater into rivers and canals including releasing of toxic fumes which is becoming a problem that the Thai government has now announced that “Waste is a national agenda”.

   However, we can be accepted and verified by the entrepreneurs to be responsible and environmentally conscious, and there are innovations that are good enough to help solve waste problems in the right way, correctly, standardized, without pollution and sustainably protecting the environment. This will make Thailand recognized internationally as in addition to being one of the world’s major industrial centers, and we can also be a model center of global environmental responsibility.
